"For reason, ruling alone, is a force confining: and passion, unattended, is a flame that burns to its own destruction. Therefore let your soul exalt your reason to the height of passion, that it may sing; And let it direct your passion with reason, that your passion may live through its own daily resurrection, and like the phoenix rise above its own ashes." Taken from "The Prophet" by Kahlil Gibran

Stargate has taught us you can never be too careful with portals to other worlds.
And now to retrofit an iris on this wardrobe...
Have you seen this business?

Why would you need an iris? There's two perfectly good doors on that wardrobe, which should prevent any lions or witches from materializing.
I disagree. And I'll tell you why: Though I personally have not tested the efficiency of ice used as a projectile, I'm fairly certain that the White Witch could blast through those doors, even if locked. Not to mention the fact that Aslan is a magical flying lion.
If we're operating under heightened cautionary standards I must stick to my initial evaluation of the situation and demand that the doors be at least reinforced. Preferably with some sort of high-grade alloy...
OK, I'll grant you that the White Witch may be able to ice-blast through the doors, but only because it hasn't been established whether the event horizon is in at the back or the front of the wardrobe. Obviously, if it's at the back, there's plenty of room for nastiness to materialize.
However, an iris isn't going to protect you from Aslan. He isn't merely magical; according to C. S. Lewis himself, Aslan is the Jesus of Narnia, so we can assume he at least has the capabilities of Anubis, who once almost managed to blow up Earth through the stargate despite the iris. Aslan would have the additional advantage of being able to miracle himself however much energy would be required for such an attack, instead of relying on an external power source. Clearly the wardrobe must be buried immediately.
There's eight days left in November. That's enough time for you to start writing the Stargate/Narnia crossover fanfic we obviously seem to be plotting.
