Photo Thursday: Lots of hard work...

Here are some pictures of my new room and the paint job Paul and I slaved over.

First, the befores: (Though my camera totally didn't do justice to the eye popping quality of the old purple paint. Looks downright pleasant in these pictures, if you like lavendar...)

During: (I believe this was second coat time.)

And after: (Glidden's "Tropical Surf" on the ceiling and "Natural Wicker" on the walls.)

This was my inspiration for the paint colors: (Aren't those Chinese laterns amazing?)

But we decided to go with a much lighter shade for the walls since there is less window and trim in Paul's spare room than in the magazine picture. I think it turned out great. And it was actually the first time I got to pick out paint colors for a room.

I think it turned out great too.

It does look good. Also, Paul clearly has some type of facial abnormality. He should consult a dermatologist.

You should, Paul. Benji's a nurse, he would know.

Renee, I am so happy for you and Paul and I wish all the best for you two on the coast. It feels so strange that everybody is moving away!

PS, just because you posted some photos of you two painting some room doesn't prove Paul owns a house. Especially when "Paul" has a black bar over his face.

You know Ryan, I have my own doubts. I've requested again and again to see the deed but so far he has failed to produce one scrap of paper. Truth be told *I* don't know for sure *whose* room we painted!

I knew it! Be careful - I bet he has ways of reading this conversation!
